Since graduating from The University of Sydney and training at Westmead Hospital, Dr Lim has served the local area for more than two decades. Emphasising the value of ongoing family care, Dr Lim displays a dedicated interest in treating his patients, long after they can no longer attend the surgery by themselves.

Dr Lesley Mckay
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Lesley McKay is a long term member of the Hunts Avenue team. Dr McKay enjoys all elements of General Practice, and is focused on ensuring personalised care and confidentiality to all her patients. She specialises in Women's Health and Prenatal care.

Dr Ruben Arulnathan
BMed (N.Castle), FRACGP
Dr Ruben Arulnathan grew up in Sydney before gaining his medical degree from the University of Newcastle. He then completed his postgraduate training and gained wide experience at various tertiary hospitals, including the Royal North Shore Hospital, before specialising in general practice, earning a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Arulnathan has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and skin/surgical

He also enjoys all aspects of general practice and has experience managing a wide array of conditions. In his spare time, he enjoys watching films and reading.

Dr Anna Nguyen
B.Med/MD (UNSW), Dip. Child Health/IPPC, FRACGP
Dr Anna Nguyen is a thorough and passionate GP who prides herself in providing care that is personalised, empathetic and evidence-based. She graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2013 as a Doctor in Medicine (MD), before completing her residency years at Westmead Hospital and undertaking an extra year of hospital-based training focusing on Paediatrics and Women’s Health at Blacktown Hospital, giving her a breadth of experience and knowledge that is vital for her role as a GP. She has been a fellow of the Australian College of General Practitioners since 2019.
Dr Nguyen is committed to upholding the highest clinical standards and empowering her patients through effective communication, engendering positive lifestyle changes, and taking a collaborative approach to decision-making.
Her clinical interests are broad as she enjoys all facets of general practice, with a special focus on:

Skin Cancer & Dermatology: With post-graduate training in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer medicine, Dr Nguyen has an abundance of skill and experience in the detection and treatment of skin cancer and benign skin lesions. She offers thorough skin checks at the clinic as well as skin therapies including excision, cyrotherapy and skin cancer field treatments.

Women’s Health: Dr Nguyen is an accredited provider of antenatal shared care in the Northern Sydney Local Health District. She offers pregnancy planning, antenatal care and postpartum care services, including lactation support, which have been enriched by her own recent journey into motherhood. She also has an interest in managing menstrual concerns, perimenopausal health, PCOS and cervical cancer screening (“pap smears”).

Reproductive & Sexual Health: Dr Nguyen has had previous experience working in Sexual Health Services, which informs her non-judgmental approach to STD screening, contraception (counselling, Implanon insertion and removal, IUD removal), fertility testing, medical termination and gender-affirming care. She is also a prescriber of PrEP.

Paediatrics: Dr Nguyen completed a Diploma in Child Health with the University of Sydney in 2016 and enjoys providing thoughtful and adaptive care to families and children of all ages.

Mental Health: Dr Nguyen has done post-graduate training with the Black Dog Institute and aims to provide a safe space for her patients to freely discuss and manage their mental health. She understands that mental health is a complex but a very important health issue which is often overlooked and attached to stigma and misconception in the community. Dr Nguyen is constantly working to raise awareness and provide her patients with the best possible care and support for their mental health.
Dr Nguyen also supervises trainee GPs (registrars) with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is committed to continued medical learning and nurturing the GPs of tomorrow. In her spare time, she tries to put into practice what she preaches, enjoying pilates, bush walks, cooking (mostly healthy meals), and spending time with her family, especially since becoming a mother at the end of 2024.

Dr Joel Lee
MBBS, FRACGP
Joel is a dedicated doctor who strives to provide the best possible medical care to his patients. As a medical graduate from the University of Sydney and a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Joel is a strong believer that prevention is better than cure. He has experience in both acute care and chronic care patients and tries to stay up to date with the most recent medical literature.
When Joel is not attending to patients, he enjoys playing tennis, swimming and theatre.
