Referrals, Prescriptions & Test
Results
In the interest of good medical care, the Doctor needs to see you for each of these. We are not permitted by law to backdate sick leave certificates and medical referrals.
A consultation is required for a new referral letter to be written so that we can fully understand the problem and choose the appropriate specialist.
Prescriptions & repeat referrals done outside a consultation will attract a $20 fee which is not recoverable from Medicare.
Accounts
Please settle accounts at the time of consultation. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, or most credit cards.
If you are having difficulties paying your fees, please talk to your doctor or the receptionists.
eHealth
Patients will be offered the opportunity to have a community based electronic health record with a Summary Health Profile uploaded with their consent.
eHealth aims to introduce electronic services to improve upon some paper-based systems. The electronic management of your health records has the potential to transform and improve the quality of our healthcare system.
Bulk Billing
Children are bulk billed until their 16th Birthday with a valid Medicare Card. Discounted fee applies for valid pension card holders.

We are a private billing practice. All consultations are to be paid on the day of your appointment.
Standard Consultation $80.00
Level B: appointment up to 15 minutes
Covering one standard health issue or concern.
Out of pocket $40.25 (Medicare Rebate $39.75)
Long Consultation $135.00
Level C: appointment up to 30 minutes
Covering multiple standard health issues or concerns or one complex health issue or concern.
Out of pocket $58.05 (Medicare Rebate $76.95)
Extended Consultation $185.00
Level D: appointment 40+ minutes
Covering multiple complex issues or concerns.
Out of pocket $71.70 (Medicare Rebate $113.30)
If you request a telehealth consultation you may incur a fee which will be determined by your GP.
Your healthcare is important and a face-to-face consultation allows the doctor to give you a more comprehensive examination. Many issues may require a physical examination which cannot be achieved with telehealth.
